Jazz Band

Jazz Band is an auditioned group of performers who can opt to receive honors credit as well. This group performs at many school functions and has ‘gigs’ all throughout Raleigh. Our Jazz Band is the opening performance of Wake County’s Pieces of Gold celebration each year and is in demand for performances at local businesses and community events. We participate in Jazz Festivals throughout the state. Due to scheduling, and musical demands, this group is mainly upperclassmen, but younger students are welcome to audition. There is also a possibility of starting a 2nd jazz band after school if there is interest.
