A Great Way to Put Money in your Band Account - Food Lion and Lowes Foods Grocery Cards

The sale of Food Lion and Lowes Foods grocery cards is probably one of the most misunderstood fundraisers we offer.

The Band Boosters buy the cards at a discount. A band family can then buy and sell the cards for the $100 face value.

For each $100 in cards you buy from us, you receive a $5 credit in your band account. When you shop at the store, you STILL RECEIVE $100 in groceries. This is a way that stores work with the communities in supporting school groups. We make $5 off each $100 sold!

If you bought one card for your family each week of school (36 weeks of school) Your $100 weekly check generates $5 profit per week – that’s $180.00 in your account for doing nothing but EATING - which you already do every day! It doesn't get any easier! You are not selling anything – just a trading a check to the Band Boosters for a check to the grocery store.

Parents – when you go to work, discuss this with your fellow workers and start collecting checks. Send them to us with your band student’s id number written on the lower left, and we will send the cards home - usually the same day!

*** Over the Summer months, you may continue to get cards by contacting the Treasurer at
