Concert Band

Concert Band is our second level performing group. Students in this class are registered at the Band 1 or 2 level. Most of our younger students are in this group their freshman year. The class for Concert Band is two class periods, one on A day and one on B day. This course is for regular academic credit and will give a minimum of two concerts per year in addition to the marching band. This ensemble may participate in our MPA festival depending on growth and work ethic. 

Percussion students register for the Percussion class. In the Percussion class students learn and practice on all of the percussion concert instruments. They are given musical pieces for our concerts to be put together with the Concert Band and/or Wind Ensemble in addition to percussion only pieces.
